LEIJON HORNS (make 2)
These are worked in the round (no sl st) so get a stitch marker handy (I like to use a bobby pin)
row 1: with red, ch 20, sl st to form a ring
row 2-4: sc in each st around (20 st)
Switch to orange
row 5: sc in each st around (20 st)
row 6: *sc in next 8 st, sc2tog, repeat from * around (18 st)
row 7: sc in each st around (18 st)
row 8: *sc in next 7 st, sc2tog, repeat from * around (16 st)
Switch to yellow
row 9-11: sc in each st around (16 st)
row 12: *sc in next 2 st, sc2tog, repeat from * around (12 st)
row 13: *sc in next st, sc2tog, repeat from * around (8 st)
row 14: sc2tog around (4 st)
row 15: sc2tog around (2 st), pull closed
symbol:
ch 12 and join in a ring, ch 30 to form tail of sign. Sew onto hat.
